Data backups

Data backups are used for cleaning up, this is done to ensure the data amount doesn’t grow indefinitely which can in the end cause performance issues.

You can specify it for each type of information you have, you maybe want to be able to see you’ve received and processed a document for 2 years, but maybe the information in the document isn’t something worth keeping after 1 year, you can specify that.
