Create/Update Secret (Available from Link 2.6)

We can create and update secrets from Link website. Following are the steps for creating a secret

Create Secret

1. Go to Setting on left menu and click create secret, the create secret dialog will be shown

2. Enter the value you want to save as a secret and click 'Ok'. The secret will be created and you will get the secret id as shown below

        3. You can copy the secret id and use it wherever you want to use that secret e.g. Cerberus user  password

Update Secret

1. Go to Setting on left menu and click update secret, the update secret dialog will be shown

2. Enter the secret id of the secret you want to update, if the id exist you will see a dialog for providing new secret, otherwise a dialog will be shown that secret doesn't exist

Permissions Required

• User_Action_CreateSecret (For Creating secret)
• User_Action_UpdateSecret (For Creating secret)
